  • Cheerios reduced the amount of cereal but increased the box size. Why?

  • Toberlone reduced the amount of chocolate by making a bigger space between each triangle

  • Kirkland used less sheets of toilet paper in each roll

  • Cadbury’s rounded the edges to reduce the weight by 10% in 2013

Toblerone, which makes distinctively triangular chocolate bars. In 2014 it reduced the weight of its bars by 25% by adding more space between each piece – but reversed the decision two years later after public outcry.
