In 2021 Norway created a new law that makes it compulsory for influencers to announce which photos of their bodies have been edited.

It applies to all social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, and Twitter but only when the picture is advertising something

Why did Instagram create this law?

Publicly instagrammars supported the rule and said it a few said it should apply to all posts (not only promotional ones).

They can just post photos of the product in their hand and not show their face or body if they edit their photos a lot.
