This is the true story of America Samoa’s football team. They were bottom of the Fifa rankings and in 2001 they lost 31-0 to Australia.
The team gets a new coach (a Dutch man who was working in the US) and he has to understand the players culture and try to help them improve
The woman in the team was a man when she played for the team. Later she became a woman

What kind of sports do people usually play in Jamaica?
This is based on the true story of Jamaica’s first bobsleigh team. They completed in the 1988 Olympics in Canada
In the movie, 4 runners who failed to qualify for the Olympics decided to make a bobsleigh team because a former bobsleigh Olympian was living on the island.

How would you describe Eddie?
Eddie the Eagle is the nickname of a British ski jumper. He dreamed of competing in the Olympics but couldn’t make the ski team so he decided to try ski jumping because there were no British ski jumpers at the time.
He moved to the US and then Europe to train. He had no money so often slept in his car. He had to borrow ski boots but they were too big so he wore 6 pairs of socks.
He finished 58th out of 58 at the Olympics.
After he attended the Olympics, the IOC made an “Eddie the Eagle rule.” What do you think that is?
To stop people like Eddie from joining the Olympics, only the top 30 percent or the top 50 athletes in international competitions could join.
