Generally the American version is quite chaotic. People don’t make good decisions when they date in the pods.
Almost all the Japanese will take notes during dates and ask deeper questions. Most contestants in the US laughed at the guy who took lots of notes
The Japanese always dressed up for their dates even though they never saw each other. The Americans only sometimes did
Japan: Spends longer on the talking at the wall (about half)
US: They quickly get to physical dates which are more chaotic
Japan: bigger age range but most in their mid-late 30’s
US: half in late 20’s, half in early 30’s
